KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA: 
HOUSING OBSERVATION

I found an article in the Guardian online a couple of years ago that was about the World's End estate in Kensington and Chelsea. It was an article that highlighted the stark income inequality of housing in the borough  of Kensington and Chelsea and that World's End estate is an example of that with some of the most poverty stricken people in the country living in this estate and from their window they can see a hight street full of expensive boutiques and multi-million pound houses. 
I wanted to show this through architecture and photographed the two different types of housing that you can see from each other’s window and placed them next to each other to enhance the juxtaposition.
